Natalie Barton, Field Experience Intern

Natalie is a graduate student at Southern Methodist University’s Counseling Program (supervised by Jeffrey S Gallup, MA LPC-S NCC CFMHE and Jennifer Balch, Ph.D., LPC-S, RPT-S, CAS). Natalie was a former elementary teacher teaching third and fourth graders and has extensively volunteered to work with children and teens in various programs, including at Utah State Hospital in Provo, Utah. Natalie has completed expansive coursework to provide therapy and counseling services to various people of any age. 

Natalie believes every person has excellent individual worth. She wants to assist clients in developing healthy self-esteem while reaching their goals. Natalie helps clients to process complex life challenges, create healthy coping skills, and construct positive thinking. Natalie supports clients by assisting them to carry their emotional burdens to alleviate suffering and move towards a brighter tomorrow.

Natalie enjoys spending time with her children and friends, reading books, and shopping. You can also continue to find her volunteering in the community.
