Kendra Lewis, LPC-Associate, Supervised by Jeffrey Gallup, MA LPC-S NCC CFMHE
Kendra is a graduate of Southern New Hampshire University’s Clinical Mental Health Counseling Program (supervised by Jeffrey S Gallup, MA LPC-S NCC CFMHE).
Kendra's unwavering dedication to her clients is evident in her approach. She creates a safe space for clients to be their authentic selves and applies a client-centered approach in each counseling session. She firmly believes that each client can cultivate inner strength and a positive mindset that empowers them to shift from problem-focused to solution-focused when given the tools to do so.
Kendra's counseling approach is versatile, as she uses Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Solution-focused Therapy, and Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy to assist her clients in improving their mental health and overall well-being. She serves a diverse client population, including individuals who experience anxiety, depression, eating disorders, self-esteem issues, trauma, and alcohol and substance use.
When Kendra is not in her professional role, she is actively involved in her community. She enjoys mentoring youth in her church and community, feeding the homeless, and volunteering for community service events that serve the homeless and elderly. Her personal interests, such as being a “volleyball mom” to her daughter, trying new foods, and watching true crime documentaries, make her a relatable and approachable figure in her community.
Kendra's commitment to her profession is further demonstrated by her membership in The American Counseling Association.
