Heather Christ MA LPC Associate, Supervised by Jeffrey Gallup, MA LPC-S NCC CFMHE
Heather graduated from Our Lady of the Lake University in San Antonio with a Master of Arts Counseling. It was there where she has studied the need for multicultural counseling. She practiced at Mansfield Counseling as an intern crafting her skills with the supervision of Jeff Gallup. Heather also graduated from Capella University with a Master of Science in Clinical Psychology and Research.
It is Heather’s passion to help individuals, couples, and parents overcome life’s obstacles. She uses a variety of techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Brief Therapy, and Play Therapy techniques, just to name a few. She has experience with working with depression, anxiety, PTSD, and learning disabilities, along with many other mental health concerns. Heather makes sure that her clients of all ages feel safe and heard while embracing their work towards positive change.
When Heather is not working, she loves spending time with her family. She loves traveling, sports, and concerts. Heather and her family are avid Baseball fans. With her love of music, Heather and her husband attend many concerts throughout the year. They have been known to travel just to see their favorite bands.
