Jeffrey S Gallup MA LPC-S NCC CFMHE - Owner
“Seeking out for help can be a challenging first step, and I'm happy you decided to take it.”
Since beginning his practice, Jeff has had the pleasure of working alongside and evaluating clients of all ages and stages throughout Texas. This ranges from individuals from diverse backgrounds, including those involved with court cases and those presenting psychological challenges incepted from internal battles like depression, anxiety to distressing external situations such as life transitioning. He has also completed over 1200 diagnostic evaluations and assessments. Jeff has the expertise to accurately perform diagnostic evaluations and assessments. In the same breath, help them understand where they currently are, where they desire to go, and form the actionable steps to get there. Most importantly, doing so within a secure, safe, validating, and judgment-free environment.
Collectively, much of Jeff’s professionalism and track record for success stems from a rich academic background: a Bachelors in Psychology and a Masters in Counseling from Stephen F. Austin State University. In addition, Jeff underwent extensive training as a Certified Forensic Mental Health Evaluator (CFMHE), a National Certified Counselor (NCC), and an LPC-Supervisor (LPC-S), and since applied this expertise in mental health testing and diagnosis to help other aspiring professionals accentuate their own practices. This has been done through keynoting at workshops, seminars, and lead training on various assessment and forensic topics at national, state, regional, and local levels. But as sound as his education and training have been, what has solidified his reputation the most comes from being a professional who truly values meaningful change, who is passionate about seeing others propel forward at their own pace, and who is devoted to ensuring no one feels like they have to navigate the turbulences of life alone.
Overall, Jeff is passionate about rendering growth-rich sessions that promote inner strength, resilience, and internal wisdom that reflects externally and continuously keeps a firm pulse on the practice's ongoing evolvements. In addition, he firmly believes that everyone has the ability to break past emotional, and mental barriers to step into the best version of themselves; sometimes the first step to recognize that is having someone in your corner who values your trajectories just as much as you do. That said, when Jeff is not with a client or mentoring, you can usually find him exploring the outdoors, playing video games, reading, running, cooking/baking for his family, and above all, spending time with his wife and two teenagers.
