for the counseling world?

Then consider working with Mansfield Counseling (MA, LPC-S, NCC, CFMHE). Jeff has over 18 years of counseling experience in various settings, including inpatient, outpatient, non-profit, and private practice. Jeff also specializes in evaluation and assessment and working with children, adolescents, and adults with a wide range of mental health concerns.

When possible, they will perform site visits to ensure that you are gaining quality experience that is useful to you as a counselor. Whenever possible, they will also review the Associate’s case notes to improve documentation and monitor ethical compliance. Mansfield Counseling is committed to providing the Associates with real-world counseling supervision on a wide variety of topics.

Our experienced supervisors have extensive experience in the field. They are passionate about helping counselors achieve their goals and are committed to providing a safe and supportive space for exploration and growth. Our supervisors use evidence-based practices and the latest research to guide their work, ensuring that our counselors receive the most up-to-date and effective training available.

More about Supervision

We supervise from an educational perspective while using a variety of theories, including cognitive-behavioral and person-centered modalities. Supervision is a collaborative effort that is no longer a professor-student role but more of a collegial, mentor/supervisor relationship.

We offer a supportive and collaborative environment where counselors can develop their skills, grow their practices, and improve their effectiveness with clients.

The monthly supervision fee includes weekly sessions, handouts, and networking opportunities. There is no fee for our initial meeting, and the Associate does not start to pay the supervision fee until the Associate has received their license.

Whether onsite or offsite, Associates will learn about the pros/cons of private practice, forms that we use, how to get on insurance panels, marketing strategies, legal considerations, and more!

How it works

Direct hours

When appropriate and the opportunity arises, we also refer clients to Associates. Associates will be informed of presentations, workshops, continuing education, and conferences throughout the Metroplex and can obtain indirect hours by attending these.

We want to prepare our Associates to be ethical, well-informed, well-rounded counselors who can better protect themselves against potential lawsuits or board complaints. Upon consideration, Associates may be considered for employment with Mansfield Counseling.

To be considered, please follow these steps.

Please send a copy of your resume, including when you completed your Master’s degree and when you have taken your NCE or plan to take your NCE.

Tell us in your e-mail briefly about why you want to be a counselor, the populations you want to serve, and why are you interested in working with us for supervision.
