
Tamara McQueary is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). She received her Bachelor of Science in Psychology at Abilene Christian University in 2010 and her Masters of Science in Social Work from The University of Texas at Arlington in 2013.
The client population she works with are children and adolescents ages 4-18 and adults ages 19 and up. This can be done individually, in a group setting, as a couple, or within a family.
Her theoretical frameworks include an eclectic approach of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Play Therapy techniques, and elements of Solution Focused Therapy. She is also a Trust-Based Relational Intervention (TBRI) Practitioner.
She has worked in mental healthcare for over 8 years. Her clinical interests and specialties include trauma-informed care, depression, anxiety, anger management, adoption, ADD/ADHD, and general adjustment limitations.
